MAG522w3 is Infomir’s fifth-generation IPTV set-top box capable of playing 4K HDR video at 60 fps, while HEVC support ensures seamless content streaming irrespective of Internet speed.
The devices use the world-famous quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU at the center of an Amlogic S905X2 chipset. This powerful combination enables MAG522w3 to run at speeds up to 18,400 DMIPS. Storage-wise, the unit boasts 4 GB of internal storage and 1 GB of RAM as standard.
MAG522w3 supports eight-channel Dolby Digital Plus™ surround sound — all you need to do to enjoy lifelike audio is connect your MAG522w3 to a compatible TV or HiFi system.
Wireless Internet connectivity is taken care of by an integral dual-band (2.4 and 5 GHz) Wi-Fi module offering speeds of up to 550 Mbit/s, while hard-wired fans can use the 100 Mbit/s Ethernet port.
Two USB ports (2.0 and 3.0) allow content streaming from an external hard drive. Alternatively, use these ports to add keyboards, mice, or similar peripherals.
